Aim 3: Speaking Out Against Discrimination
Stigma and discrimination remain among the greatest barriers preventing people from getting tested, accessing treatment, or living openly in peace. PIWI actively challenges myths, workplace prejudice, and institutional discrimination through education and rights advocacy.
- Public awareness campaigns replacing HIV myths with accurate science (including U=U: Undetectable = Untransmittable)
- Workplace sensitization on Nigeria's HIV/AIDS Anti-Discrimination Act
- Healthcare worker empathy and stigma-free service delivery dialogues
- Legal rights awareness and referral support for individuals experiencing HIV-based discrimination
